A day with your shutters
- SunriseThe shutters open on their own: the house wakes up to daylight.
- 12.30pmThe sun is heating up the living room: with the Tywell box, the autopilot partly lowers the shutters in that zone.
- 3.00pmA storm on the way? From your phone, you close the shutters, even from work.
- SunsetThe shutters close on their own, even if you're home late.
- 10.30pm“Alexa, close the bedroom shutters”: done, without getting up.
The times are just an example; sunrise and sunset follow the seasons.
The equipment
What I install
Windows: Tyxia 5630
For most windows: a radio receiver for a motor up to 1 A. I check the motor's rating plate.
Heavy shutters: Tyxia 5730
For large patio doors and powerful motors: the same receiver, up to 2 A.
Tydom Home box
Plugged into your broadband router, it links all your shutters to the Delta Dore app, which is free to download.

Frequently asked questions
Can my electric shutters be connected?
- Yes, with a wired motor, linked to the switch by a wire: I add a radio receiver.
- I check at your home the make and power of the motor, before the quote.
And if my motor is already radio-controlled?
- Delta Dore Tymoov motor: it pairs directly with the box, no receiver needed.
- Another radio brand: I look model by model.
My shutters are manual, with a strap or a crank?
A manual shutter has no motor to connect: we'll look together at the right solution for you.
Does a shutter closed remotely stop if something is in the way?
- With a Delta Dore Tymoov motor, yes: it stops if something is in the way, and in frosty weather.
- With another motor: I check what it can do.
Can the shutters be controlled without a phone?
- Your original switch keeps working.
- A Tyxia 1716 remote control, for up to 16 shutters.
- A Tyxia 2331 wireless switch, to put wherever you like.
What happens without internet?
- The switch still controls the shutter, on the spot.
- Remote management resumes when the internet comes back.
Can the shutters follow the sun?
- Sunrise and sunset: with the Tydom box, the shutters open and close on their own, with each day's sunrise and sunset times.
- Against the heat: with the Tywell box and its Tywell Control unit, the autopilot partly lowers the shutters.
- You take back control whenever you want.
