Delta Dore smart home · Vendée (85)

My smart home in Vendée, from A to Z

Alarm, cameras, shutters, lights, heating, lock: I connect the whole house with equipment from Delta Dore, a company from Brittany.

In short

  • From your phone: a single app, Tydom, on iPhone and Android.
  • One room or the whole house: you start wherever you like.
  • Nothing to break: radio devices, fitted to your existing installation.

Arnauld, Delta Dore certified installer and local tradesman based in La Ferrière: the whole of Vendée, no subcontracting.

Remote management

The Tydom box, connected to your broadband router, links all the equipment to the app.

Tydom remote management

Depending on your installation

Room by room, at your own pace

In the hallway

A keypad or remote control sets and unsets the alarm. With the Hub Tyxal+ control panel, an alert goes to your phone if a door opens. As you leave, a “leaving” routine switches off the lights in one go.

In the living room

With the Tydom box, the shutters open and close on their own, at sunrise and sunset. The lights can be managed from afar, in the app. Connected roller shutters

In the bedrooms

Each bedroom has its own temperature, with a smart radiator head on its hot-water radiator: cooler at night, as programmed. A “night” routine switches off all the lights in one go.

In the bathroom

If it's a hot-water radiator, the smart radiator head warms the room before you wake up, as programmed. A water leak detector alerts you on your phone, through the alarm or the box.

Cameras

The Tycam Home films indoors, the Tycam Guard outdoors: the pictures open live in the app. Tycam cameras

Gate and lock

A gate that's already motorised opens from your phone: a small radio receiver is added to the motor. A Nuki lock opens by phone, keypad code or key. Smart lock

The installation

Nothing to break

Everything works by radio: no cables to run through the walls.

The receiver is wired in by me, hidden behind your switch or in the shutter box.

Your switches still work, just as before.

On the left, a switch opened up with the Tyxia 5610 radio receiver in the back box; on the right, the same switch closed again, wall intact
The receiver hides behind your switch: once it's closed again, nothing shows.

Your questions

Frequently asked questions

Can I equip just one room?

  • Yes, you start with whatever bothers you most: the rest can be added later, in the same app.
  • Before the quote, I come to your home: I look at your shutters, switches, radiators and broadband router.

Are my shutters and radiators compatible?

  • Shutters: already electric, with a wired motor. A shutter with a strap or crank needs motorising first.
  • Hot-water radiators: a smart radiator head on each one.
  • Electric radiators: a small receiver hidden behind, without changing the radiator.

Who is alerted if the alarm goes off?

  • You, on your phone, wherever you are; the siren sounds on site.
  • Texts and calls, with the SIM card supplied: no compulsory subscription, optional SIM card plan.
  • You decide: stop the siren from the app, or call 17, the French police.
  • Remote monitoring, if you want it, is a paid third-party service, with its own contract.

And if the internet is down?

  • Your remote controls and wireless switches keep working.
  • The Hub alarm sounds on site and sends its alerts over 4G, with the SIM card activated.
  • Remote management resumes when the internet comes back.

What should I know before filming?

  • Your own land only: not the street, nor next door.
  • Let people know they may be filmed: family, guests, home staff.
  • Connection: a power supply, and Wi-Fi or a network cable.

Tenant, second home: is it possible?

  • Tenant: you can have this equipment fitted, it comes off when you leave. Tenants: what's possible
  • Second home: shutters and heating can be set from afar, before you arrive, with internet on site. Second home
