Home automation for tenants in Vendée: everything leaves with you
Renting in Vendée? Equip your home with a connected alarm, heating, shutters and lock, for as long as your tenancy lasts.
In short
- Radio equipment, fitted by me, with no cables to run through the walls.
- The equipment is yours once paid for: it leaves with you.
- An app with no subscription for the whole house, plus voice control.
Arnauld, Delta Dore certified installer and local tradesman based in La Ferrière: the whole of Vendée, no subcontracting.

The installation
Everything works by radio
The detectors fix to the wall, the box plugs into a socket.
The receivers hide behind the switch or in the shutter box.
- No cables to run through the walls
- A few small screws, holes filled when you leave
- Original heads, cylinder and keys kept
Everything comes off
What you can install

Heating
Smart radiator heads on hot-water radiators, receivers on electric radiators: you keep the original head.

Shutters and lights
A radio receiver hidden in the shutter box or behind the switch, wired in by me: shutters and lights managed from afar.

Lock
A Nuki smart lock: phone, keypad code or key, and you keep the original cylinder and keys.

Box and voice
A Tydom Home box on a socket: the whole house in one app, and by voice with Alexa or Google Assistant.

Detectors
Water leak: a sensor placed on the floor. Power cut: a dedicated detector. Linked to the alarm or the box, they alert you on your phone.
Moving out
Moving day
You take it down and fill the small holes: the equipment leaves with you.
The smart radiator heads can be refitted elsewhere, if the valve allows it.
A wired receiver must be disconnected by a professional: I refit it in your new home in Vendée, on quotation.

Your questions
Frequently asked questions
Can I install an alarm in my flat?
- Yes: the Hub and detectors screw to the wall and come off when you leave.
- A window that's rarely opened: the mini opening detector sticks on.
- Before the quote: I check your home on site.
Do you need a broadband router?
- For heating and shutters: yes, the Tydom Home box connects to your broadband router.
- For the alarm: the Hub connects by cable, Wi-Fi or 4G. A SIM card is supplied. No compulsory subscription; optional SIM card plan for texts and calls.
- Without internet: the alarm still sounds on site, and the smart radiator heads keep their settings: they also work without a box.
Can my shutters be connected?
- Yes, if they're motorised: I check the motor at your home, before the quote.
- A shutter with a strap or crank: it has no motor to connect.
And if I live in a building with shared heating?
- The smart radiator head controls your radiator, not the building's boiler.
- Your valve must be thermostatic and compatible: I check it at your home, before the quote.
And if my home already has an alarm?
- Read your contract first: it may belong to a provider.
- Don't remove anything before checking.
